Dynasty

A banda de Los Angeles fez funk e dance-pop no final dos anos 70 e 80. O baixista e vocalista Kevin Spencer Nidra Beard e Linda Carriere compunham o grupo. Eles teveram  arranque rápido com o single "I Don't Want to Be a Freak (But I Can't Help Myself)" a partir de 1979 com seu LP Seu Piece of the Rock. O próximo single, "I've Just Begun to Love", foi o único Top Ten R & B hit, atingindo o número seis, em 1980. Eles continuaram a gravação pela Solar através dos anos 80, mas nunca registrou qualquer outro registro importante. Leon Sylvers se juntou a eles em 1981, mas sua presença não regularizar a situação. Eles permaneceram no Solar até 1988.
